As the race for the Oscars is imminent, Kiss The Frog have launched the website for award winning film company, Human Film.

Director & Producer Isabelle Stead gave me a call a couple of weeks back with the need to tweak certain aspects of the Human Film website. After scrutinising it, we established that it required a significant change if it were to gain an element of consistency and convey the right professional message as well as being something that they could take away and self manage. We therefore proposed a complete rebuild from a blank canvas, utilising the WordPress platform and integrating several elements which have further enhanced the user experience.

Isabelle was very pleased with the final result and the speed in which we were able to turn it around. Human Film are gaining significant momentum of late, with their upcoming award-winning Iraqi film “Son Of Babylon” being selected as Iraq’s official entry to the Oscars & Golden Globes 2011. Produced by Isabelle, and directed by the highly creative Mohamed Al-Daradji, “Son Of Babylon” is based on true events and the repercussions of living under Saddam’s tyranny. It’s humanitarian content has globally impacted audiences, critics and juries, picking u the Peace Award and the Amnesty International Film Award at Berlin IFF this year.

It was catapulted into the international spotlight during it’s North American premiere at Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Festival 2010; the festival’s Sundance Institute was the first to spot the potential in the film and it’s makers from a very early stage, getting involved with the project in development. Now with the prospect of inclusion in the Academy Awards, the filmmakers will realise their dreams to revive Iraq’s fledgling cultural legacy, as well as being recognised for the highly creative and artistic merit of the film.

We are very excited to be working with Isabelle and Mohamed and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship.
