Heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath get on board with Instagram to promote Iron Man: The Best Of Black Sabbath!
Once again, Kiss The Frog are delighted to bring you another Instagram installment – this time we’re sharing the love of rock gods Black Sabbath during their reunion tour.
With the resounding success of our recent interactive microsites using the same framework for Paul McCartney, Elbow, Thin Lizzy and Ronnie James Dio, Universal Music commissioned us to pull together another fan-based asset to help launch the upcoming “Best Of” album, Iron Man, and we are happy to announce the site has gone live.
The idea again is to generate a lot of social awareness and interactivity using the ever popular Instagram app (now also available on Google Android phones) – where users take a photo of anything Black Sabbath inspired and so long as they hashtag it in line with the site, the feed pulls the images and user’s profiles right onto the new site.
Of course, this is accompanied by a competition for the masses and we are expecting huge traffic as Black Sabbath recently kicked major arse in their Birmingham concert a couple of weeks ago!
