Kiss The Frog launch the official Quadrophenia website for The Who and Universal Music.
It’s live! The official website for The Who Quadrophenia has been launched for Universal Music and interest is soaring – already over 1,000 likes in just a few days!
Over the past few months, Kiss The Frog have been busy on a large scale project for Universal Music and The Who – giving new life to one of the most iconic albums ever made – Quadrophenia by The Who. The final result – an official desktop and mobile website, a series of mailers and online display ads.
The fully content-managed site has been designed to maintain the original authentic “mod” feel and flavour of its era, promoting various key elements such as the exciting upcoming release of an incredible intricate Director’s Cut box set packed with Who memorabilia, as well as giving users the ability to relive the Quadrophenia era. Interactivity through registration, social connecting and sharing of content, along with an exclusive area Q-Cloud which will launch soon, the website is a showcase of the Mod culture and a tribute to the iconic album and The Who.
There is a hugh drive, both online and offline for the campaign – competitions to win tickets to see Pete Townshend play an official acoustic set (which we’ll be photogrpahing, so stay tuned!), the chance to win a custom Vespa, as well as Talenthouse’s exciting entry for all creative types which gives everybody the chance to make the new official music video for The Who’s 5:15! The site is jampacked full of features. Alongside this, a mobile version of the website was designed and optimised for a better viewing experience, also giving users the ability to install it onto their mobile desktop as a WebApp.
It’s been an exciting ride for us and we’re really chuffed to see it go live. If you like The Who, Quadrophenia or the era that it represents, be sure to check out the new website here!
